Its my curiosity when I was scanning the google maps here in our nearby places in Saudi Arabia until i found the Grid coordinate of the said Heet cave or Dahl Heet at the nearby al kharj road ( 24.486159,46.997145) this coordinate is just only at the car parking and you still walk for aproximately 100 meters so that you can see the main descent entrance of the cave.
Heet Cave is situated 30 minutes south-east outside of Riyadh. The cave has a cool pool of water that is deep and large enough to swim in. The climb down and back up is a little difficult, but can be done as long as you can climb up and down loose boulders. There is some climbing and hike around the cave.
At first time and mystery that other goers are facing when looking this place at their point of origin is they are loosing a way going there and sometimes the direction of the GPS maps is getting weak and the track will get lost. ACCORDING TO THE VIDEOS THAT I WATCH: A 1992 VIDEOS UPLOADED http://www.saudicaves.com/hitvideo/ Ain Hit Cave is not only famous as a site for diving in the desert. In 1902 King Abdul Aziz Ibn Saud stopped here to water his camels before recapturing Riyadh with his tiny force of 40 men. Thirty-six years later the same king brought two oil engineers to the very same spot for an outing. One of these men was Max Steineke who noted that the water level in 1938 was up at the entrance level (137 meters higher than it was in Greg Gregory’s 2002 survey). The oil men immediately spotted the Bahrain cap-rock above the entrance. This was a layer of anhydrite known to be a kind of seal, under which trapped oil was likely to be found. According to Nestor Sander, who worked with Steineke, “It is entirely possible, even probable, that Max kept in mind the outcrop of anhydrite in Dahl Hit when he urged the deep test that was Dammam Well No. 7.” Shortly after the visit to Ain Hit, Well No. 7 finally gushed, after the drill reached 1440.18 meters below the surface (Sander quote courtesy of Greg Gregory). But........ there is a hidden beauty that this cave poses that no one else can go there but only Professional Diver as i have told the pool that people swim is just the main entrance going deep down the underground kingdom of water There many rumors buti cannot explain it how the inhabitants discover this cave, the water is very clear and you cannot smell any unusual if you taste the water it just like something refreshing miraculously.
